previously worked as an architect in architectural and engineering offices in Athens until 2012 and as a pre-doc project assistant at the Vienna University of Technology at the Institute of Building and Industrial Construction, Research Unit for Integrated Design and Industrial Construction until 2022


studied Architectural Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), graduating in 2010, 

also studied Building Science and Technology at the TU Vienna, graduating in 2016 

completed his doctorate at the TU Vienna on the topic ‘BIM-based Building Energy Modelling for holistic simulation-based assessment and optimisation of operating industrial production facilities’, graduating with distinction in 2023


member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and registered architect since 2011 

member of the International Building Performance Simulation Association since 2016 

lecturer at national and international conferences

author or co-author of numerous scientific contributions on topics such as the coupling of Building Information Modelling (BIM) with thermal-dynamic building simulation, building energy efficiency in industrial construction, indoor thermal comfort, simulation-based building optimisation, LCC and LCA with BIM
